SOLD – PR Rock N Rye – Gold Premium RPSI Colt

SOLD: Meet PR Rock N Rye, our 2013 colt by Hanoverian stallion Rosenthal out of our purebred Arabian mare, PR Brandywine (by Tar Comet). At the 2013 Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International inspection at Solomon Farms in SD, Rock N Rye earned Gold Premium status for his correct conformation, elegant type and elastic, expressive movement. Rye is a good-sized modern colt with a “look at me” attitude.

Rye’s sire, Rosenthal, is a 16.3H black imported stallion and was the #1 USEF Dressage Breeding Stallion in 2007. Rosenthal has a lifetime license from the G.O.V. (German Oldenburg Verband) and is a proven producer of Premium foals – of which Rye is an excellent example.

Rye’s 20-year-old dam, PR Brandywine, earned a spot in the RPSI Main Mare Book One. The inspector was impressed with her drive from behind and scopey, uphill movement. Both Brandy’s sire, Tar Comet, and her maternal grandsire, *Ranald, were champion English Pleasure horses.

Rye is branded RPSI and registered Half-Arabian. He is available to a buyer that is looking for a highly trainable and competitive dressage prospect. $10,000

UPDATE: Rye has a new owner! He caught the eye of our friend and client Jodi Cuskelly, who owns and has competed on two other Arabian Sport Horses with PRTC breeding, JC Sassy and PR Maximum Flyte. “Knowing how closely related he is to Sassy and Max, and how much I love their temperaments and talents, I am excited to start a partnership with Rye,” Jodi told us. Best of all, we get to keep working with Rye and Jodi. We are excited to see what the future holds for this team and how this Rosenthal/Prairie Rose cross turns out!
